Everything I wrote this morning is true, but there is much more to the equation. This isn’t only a matter about the current tensions and the Friday demonstrations, it’s about the horrible conditions of life in Gaza and how it came to be that way.

Very thought provoking article I am happy to share and say thank you for posting the link. “The alternative is a strategy built not on collective punishment but on hope. It would begin with dismantling much of the blockade…” A process the people take one step at a time.
I would recommend to Mr. Peter Beinart to spend just a few weeks near the Gaza border, exposed, along with thousands of Israeli civilians, to missiles and tunnels of destruction, and then draw conclusions.
